Original 8x10 inch pastel drawing. This piece has a 1/4 inch handling edge on all sides, so the total paper size is approximately 8.5 x 10.5 inches. It should be framed away from the glass using matboard (this prevents damage to the pastel) and the handling edge should be hidden beneath a mat. I highly recommend getting UV resistant glass for your frame — this will help to protect the paper and pastel better in the long-term.
