How to Draw Icy Blue Eyes

Here is a video of me building up the layers for Echo's second eye. Echo is a greyhound catahoula mix and he has these amazing, icy blue eyes. There is a fine balance between capturing just enough blue in his eyes and capturing too much, so I have used some blues as well as some cool greys for most of his eye. I have also used pencil 172 (Earth Green) of the Faber-Castell Polychromos to add some depth to the top of his eye, where the eyelid casts a shadow.
